About Me
I consider it a privilege and honor to be a part of the change process for others.
I believe in the intrinsic value of all human beings. Each one of us has within our being unique qualities and potential. As a DBT oriented clinician it’s my mission to help others acquire the cognitive and behavioral skill sets needed to build resilience, gain recovery from mood disorder and anxiety, and achieve their unique potential.
I believe the most productive therapy relationship is one of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration. My approach is down to earth and direct, yet compassionate and caring. I have a particular affection for adolescents and transition-age young adults who are trying to find self-worth, establish an authentic identity, and are on a journey to find purpose and meaning in our ever-changing tumultuous world.
